Playing an electric guitar is a very different beast, especially when your acoustic technique tends to be aggressive and percussive. Luckily, this song demanded a light hand and a gloomier tone, and served as a fantastic first-foray into the hitherto unexplored realms of amplified music making. It won't be the last. Not by a long shot.

Recorded on the heels of a nasty case of laryngitis, the vocal here has an evocative amount of strain that is both sexy and well-suited to the overall tone of the song.
